I have been hired to drive a Kevlacat 3200 from Fl to the Dominican Republic and recently read many posts (on other sites) about these boats having large cracks in the hull after a few hours on the water.
The boat started out as a hull and we have completly built it up from the ground up. We had 2 large through hull transducers installed and after cutting a fairly large sized chunk out of the hull for installation it was said that it appears to be in good order. Over built but well built.
The question is, not if you’ve heard of this but if you have one, know of someone who has or had one and maybe what was done to repair or fix the problem of the cracking hull.
Thanks for any and all information you can send me…
P.S. We have about 2 months before we make the trip so that should be enough time to fix any problems that might be present.
