Boarhills 31/7/07

Decided after a week with my son sailing at Loch Tummel and me chasing the trout on the Upper Tummel, to do a bit of sea fishing. Arrived too early to dig some lug as the tide was still too high, so waited for 30mins and then dug about 80 worms in 20mins after the water had just receded. Headed off to Boarhills and got there just before 8pm. Baited the first rod and set up the second, but before I could cast it I had wrasse no 1. In the next 60 mins caught another 6 wrasse up to about 3lb before the tide had ebbed too far and I was casting onto kelp. Packed up at 9.30 with a smile on my face. I did also lose a very large wrasse that broke the snood when I held on too tight!!
Heres a couple of pics of the largest 2 wrasse.
