Bear Harvest Continues To Be Slow
But more 600-pounders taken by hunters
HARRISBURG - Two days of bear hunting have produced a preliminary harvest of
1,638 bears, according to Pennsylvania Game Commission reports.
In 2006, 2,185 bears passed through check stations the first two days. In
