A few hours on a small stream.
I fished for a few hours today on a small wild trout stream. T he stream was perfect, with good flows and as clear as I have ever seen it. Water temp was 46 degrees with a few small files hatching once and awhile. I must have spooked at least 5 trout before I shifted into stealth mode. The small streamer produced several brookies. It was nice to see some greening going on in the woods. I guess 2 more weeks and I’ll have surface city.
