We then headed off to a wreck as the tide started to flood giving us a bumpy ride with the wind over tide. A few drifts saw Matt land the only Codling of the trip at 6 1/2lb,, but still a PB for him:clap3:.

I had a Red Gurnard and Dave managed a few Mackerel. We had to come inshore and try and find some shelter from the wind as conditions were getting very uncomfortable:yucky:http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6…h_DSCF0294.jpg
After a couple of hours fishless of Seaford Head (Dave lost a good fish which came off after a savage take) we headed over towards Saltdean to try some trolling.
We had no luck there either but towards the end of the drift we spotted this:blink:

at the bottom of a cliff. It did not look as if it had been there long as there was no sign of any rust or weed on it despite the weekends very big tides. A call to the coastguard was made for them to check it out and we headed back in at 5pm.
Yet another disappointing day but at least all of the TCT winners so far have had a PB on their trip:)
