This is a generic nymph-emerger pattern I tied up for use on the small streams I fish. I am going to give it a try today, and will post the results later.

I’m thinking of getting in to fly tying. Anyone have any advice on types of beginning vice/equipment to get at a reasonable price. I’ve seen these $100 kits at fishing shops. Are they any good? Are there any good dvd’s to help out?
