We set out our jugs in the main channel of the lake and drove up-lake to crappie fish for a few hours and came back to this catfish.

Gave it a go from just north of the school, Flat sea, wind all wrong, and bright sunshine.
Only managed one Whiting between me and the lad (yes Daz he caught it)
but a nice day out all the same, Thanks to fleetwood dave for some brilliant worms. here are some pics.

Fished Bamburgers today, big tide, ebb run was so powerfull fry did not stand a chance, hence the lack of Bass. Caught some nice sized Herring (about 40) though which made the day well worth it, one of them topping near the pound mark. Only had 2 Bass biggets 1lb 9oz, caught [...]

went down to dungie on saturday 29th took a slight detour to the left lydd i think it was fished till the tide went out caught bugger all,then headed back to dungie and fished near the boils ended up staying till high tide sunday morning.. soon as it got dark the bites were comming good [...]

Anyone know the sea state here, has the rage dropped back?

and 4 more similar in size today while out for a session, in Cruden Bay. So get the cod gear out lads…
I’m now off to look for a new tripod as mine got washed away during the session, but that’s another story!
